As proven by Rihanna every time she steps out onto a beach, celebrities with tattoos are much better than celebrities sans tattoos. It’s a scientific fact*.
Seattle-based artist Cheyenne Randall is the mastermind behind Shopped Tattoos, an alternative Tumblr universe/fantasy where some of our favourite pop culture figures become tattoo pinups via the magic of photoshop.
The stroke of inkgeniuty (sorry not sorry) began, Randall explains, as “a slight obsession with seeing out of pure curiosity what some of my favourite iconic personalities would look like perhaps if they were in a parallel universe or took another path in life.”
So far Randall’s subjects range from Aubrey Hepburn and Lana Del Rey to Ron Swanson and James Dean, all of whom surprisingly suit their full-length sleeves, cheek tears and illuminati insignia, et al.
