Filmmaker Johnny Brixton has just released his latest short film, Muted, about artist Steve Cross.
Brixton presents us with a wonderfully minimalist portrait of Cross, who is shown speaking matter-of-factly about the deep and spiritual matters of life, death and religion while he creates an amazingly detailed and beautiful image with paints and pencils.
Cross, who featured in our New Era tattooist series, can be found operating out of his tattoo studio, Korpus, in Brunswick, Victoria.
